As an expert in his field, Dr. Peter Cornell is a skilled, respected, board- certified, and experienced ophthalmic surgeon who has dedicated his medical career to improving patients' lives. He has been in private practice in Beverly Hills for over 20 years, and has a special interest and specialty focus on cataract surgery, refractive cataract surgery, Lasik and refractive surgery.

Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, LASIK and cataract surgeon Dr. Peter Cornell takes care of patients from the local communities of Beverly Hills, Los Angeles and Santa Monica, as well as patients who fly in from around the world, including Japan, China, England, France, Mexico and many other countries. Dr. Cornell has performed thousands of procedures on clients' eyes, including LASIK, small incision cataract surgery with intraocular lens implants, ICL procedures, refractive cataract surgery, as well as glaucoma and eyelid surgery. Dr. Cornell was the first ophthalmologist in Los Angeles to perform femtosecond laser assisted cataract surgery in September of 2011.

Dr. Peter Cornell completed his undergraduate education at Brown University in 1978, graduating magna cum laude. After graduation, he earned his medical degree from the UCLA School of Medicine, joining the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society before his graduation in 1984. LASIK surgeon Peter Cornell then completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. After interning, he returned to UCLA, where he completed his ophthalmology residency at the prestigious Jules Stein Eye Institute.

Currently, Dr. Peter Cornell is an associate clinical professor with UCLA's Department of Ophthalmology. Dr. Stuart Stoll is a highly skilled, board certified and fellowship trained cataract and refractive surgeon who is committed to providing patients with the best medical and surgical care. Since joining the practice in 2001, Dr. Stollhas developed an outstanding reputationamong patients and peers as he provides expertise in cataract and LASIK surgery utilizing the latest advances to achieve optimal outcomes.


Dr. Stuart Stoll completed his undergraduate training at the University of Southern California where he received a B.S. in Gerontology. Following graduation he moved to Illinois where he earned a medical degree at the Finch University of Health Sciences/Chicago Medical School. From there Dr. Stoll completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. This was followed by a residency in ophthalmology at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, D.C. where Dr. Stoll was selected to serve as Chief Resident. Wishing to specialize even further, Dr. Stoll then completed an additional year of fellowship training under the direction of Dr. Howard V. Gimbel, an internationally recognized authority in the field of cataract and refractive surgery. Through this surgical training he has been able to enhance his patients’ lifestyles by reducing their dependence on glasses or contact lenses and by restoring vision for those with cataracts.


Today, cataract and refractive surgeon Dr. Stuart Stoll remains dedicated to his Los Angeles, Beverly Hills and international patients through his commitment to the field, and by working hard to bring his expertise and his passion for excellence to each of his patients.  Dr. Stoll is a highly respected and sought after ophthalmic surgeon who has many high profile patients seeking the best care.


In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Stuart Stoll is a teacher and an innovator who is developing products to train residents in eye surgery. He holds a patent and is working on more ideas to enhance the lives of others through contributions in surgical training.

Dr. Angus MacDonald is a highly skilled, well-respected Canadian Board Certified ophthalmologist who has dedicated his professional life to delivering quality medical and surgical care in both America and Canada. With over forty years of experience, Dr. MacDonald has performed 20,000 LASIK procedures and 10,000 cataract surgeries. Since joining Dr. Cornell and Dr. Stoll at the Beverly Hills LASIK Center, he now practices non-surgical ophthalmology with an emphasis on the management of Dry Eye dysfunction.


Dr. MacDonald earned his undergraduate B.A. degree from McGill and Acadia Universities in 1964. He then began his medical training at the University of Western Ontario, which culminated in a medical degree in 1969. He completed a residency in ophthalmology at Vancouver General Hospital in 1973 and a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology at the Hospital for Sick Children in 1964.


Dr. MacDonald began practice as an assistant clinical professor in ophthalmology at the Vancouver General Hospital where he trained the residents in pediatric ophthalmology. Subsequently, he moved to Scottsdale, Arizona where he established the first outpatient cataract surgery center at Scottsdale Memorial Hospital. He then returned to Canada to continue his cataract and LASIK practice in Victoria and Toronto, where he set up the first in-office cataract surgery center.


He is a member of numerous professional and distinguished organizations and has a number of publications in both the Canadian Journal of Ophthalmology and the Arizona Medicine. Dr. MacDonald maintains up-to-date knowledge of advanced vision care techniques by attending the latest professional seminars and medical education courses through The American Academy of Ophthalmology and The American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.

In days gone by, he was an avid skier and skilled sailboat dinghy racer, having represented Canada at the 1959 Pan American Games in Chicago, where he won the Silver Medal in Flying Dutchman Class.
