Dr. Peter J. Cornell
As an expert in his field, Dr. Peter Cornell is a skilled, board-certified, experienced ophthalmologist who has dedicated his medical career to improving patients' lives. He is a talented, skilled Beverly Hills LASIK surgeon dedicated to providing his patients with superior care.
Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, LASIK surgeon Peter Cornell has served both Los Angeles area, national and international patients. Dr. Peter Cornell has performed thousands of procedures on clients' eyes, including LASIK, small incision cataract surgery with intraocular lens implants, as well as glaucoma and eyelid surgery. As part of his ongoing effort to make ophthalmic surgery safer and better, Beverly Hills LASIK surgeon Peter Cornell has invented new instruments and draping methods that may help lower complication rates for LASIK and cataract surgery.
Dr. Peter Cornell completed his undergraduate education at Brown University in 1978, graduating magna cum laude. After graduation, he earned his medical degree from the UCLA School of Medicine, joining the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society before his graduation in 1984. LASIK surgeon Peter Cornell then completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. After interning, he returned to UCLA, where he completed his ophthalmology residency at the prestigious Jules Stein Eye Institute.
Currently, Dr. Peter Cornell is an associate clinical professor with UCLA's Department of Ophthalmology. A longtime Los Angeles resident, Dr. Peter Cornell is married and has a wide range of outdoor interests including skiing, travel, golf, and tennis. He has lived in Denmark and Malaysia and is a former U.S. Junior National Badminton Champion. He has also performed volunteer cataract surgery in Vietnam and Mexico as part of Surgical Eye Expeditions.

Dr. Stuart B. Stoll
Dr. Stuart Stoll has had a life-long interest in ophthalmology. He was first exposed to the science and laser technology in ninth grade through a family friend who worked in the field. Later on, his fascination in laser surgery and other areas of ophthalmology grew so strong he decided to pursue medical school with the goal of becoming an ophthalmologist. Today, LASIK surgeon Stuart Stoll remains dedicated to his Los Angeles area and international patients through his commitment to the field, and by working hard to bring his expertise and his passion for excellence to each of his patients.
Beverly Hills LASIK surgeon Stuart Stoll’s professional training began at the University of Southern California, where he received a B.S. in Gerontology. Following graduation, he moved to Illinois, where he earned a medical degree at the Finch University of Health Sciences/Chicago Medical School. A residency in ophthalmology followed at the Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, D.C. It was there that Dr. Stuart Stoll’s abilities were recognized and he was selected to serve as Chief Resident for his final year.
Wishing to specialize even further, Dr. Stuart Stoll completed an extra year of fellowship training under the direction of Dr. Howard V. Gimbel, an internationally recognized authority in the field of cataract and refractive surgery. For Dr. Stoll, this decision was a logical extension of his ophthalmology career. Through this training as a LASIK surgeon he has been able to enhance his Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, and international patients’ lifestyles by reducing their dependence on glasses or contact lenses and by restoring vision for those with cataracts.
